These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Naykora service. By creating an account or subscribing, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full. Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions
Naykora: a SaaS application providing family device monitoring, operated by Naykora, a European company.
Service: all features accessible via naykora.ai, including the user dashboard, the Naykora Dragon Shield application installed on devices, alerts, the referral program, and the messaging system.
Subscription: an indefinite-duration contract, terminable at any time, billed monthly or yearly, per device monitored.
User: an individual aged 18 or over who creates an account and subscribes.
Device: a compatible computer (Windows 10 or 11, macOS 12 or later) on which the Naykora Dragon Shield application is installed.
2. Acceptance and eligibility
To use the Service, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. Naykora is intended for private family use. Professional, commercial, or reseller use is not covered by these Terms and requires a specific agreement.
Creating an account constitutes full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms and of our Privacy Policy.
3. Description of the Service
Naykora provides a service for remotely monitoring the technical health of your family's devices. Once installed, the Naykora Dragon Shield application collects technical data about the system's state (security updates, status of any third-party antivirus installed, pending patches, hardware alerts) and notifies you by email and in your dashboard whenever a risk indicator is detected.
IMPORTANT - Naykora IS NOT an antivirus. The Service does not block ongoing attacks, does not remove malware, and does not actively defend your device in real time. Naykora is supplemental to the security protections you must maintain elsewhere (antivirus, firewall, backups, password manager). Our role is to passively detect risk indicators (missing updates, disabled antivirus, system alerts) and to alert you quickly so that you, or our team via the messaging system, can act. Keeping your operating system and software up to date significantly reduces your attack surface but in no way replaces an active antivirus.
Naykora DOES NOT access your personal files, documents, emails, photos, browsing history, or private content. Monitoring is strictly limited to technical and security metrics.
The Naykora Dragon Shield application is built on a Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) infrastructure provided by our technical partner SuperOps, integrated under our brand (white-label). This architecture is detailed in the Privacy Policy.
4. User account
You must provide accurate information when creating your account (name, email, date of birth, language). You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity on your account.
Sign-in is performed via a one-time code sent by email, a magic link, or a third-party provider (Google) using OAuth. You can enable two-factor authentication (TOTP) at any time from your personal account for an additional layer of security. For administrator accounts, two-factor authentication is mandatory from the first sign-in.
Any account inactive for more than 24 months may be suspended or deleted after prior notice by email.
Naykora reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account in case of proven fraud, non-payment, abuse of the Service, or breach of these Terms.
5. Subscription, pricing, and quantities
The subscription is billed per device, with identical pricing regardless of the number of devices.
Prices displayed on the website are shown excluding tax. The applicable tax (VAT, GST, or equivalent local tax) is calculated and added automatically at checkout by our payment provider Stripe, based on your country of residence and the applicable regulation. The total amount to pay (price + tax) is clearly displayed before payment confirmation and appears itemized on your invoice.
Accepted currencies: CHF or EUR based on your automatically detected location. Currency can be changed manually from the dashboard.
You can increase or decrease the number of covered devices at any time from your personal account. New billing applies from the next cycle (prorated for mid-period additions).
Plans: monthly (charged on the same day each month) or yearly (single charge, discounted rate).
6. Naykora Dragon Shield installation
After subscribing, you receive an email with a personal installation link valid for 7 days. The link auto-detects your system (Windows or macOS) and downloads the appropriate installer.
Supported systems: Windows 10 and 11, macOS 12 (Monterey) or later. Desktops, laptops, and mini-PCs are supported. Tablets, smartphones, and Linux are not currently covered.
If you encounter difficulties, you can contact us via the built-in messaging for assisted installation within 24 business hours.
7. Device quota and overage
You may only install Naykora Dragon Shield on the number of devices matching your subscription. If you exceed this quota, the Service is authorized to automatically disconnect the excess devices (the most recently added) until the limit is met. An email notification is sent.
To cover more devices, simply increase the quantity from your dashboard. Disconnected devices can be reactivated immediately by subscribing to additional units.
8. Payment, billing, and renewal
Payments are processed by our provider Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Limited), PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Naykora does not store any bank card numbers.
Accepted payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express credit and debit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay wallets where supported.
The subscription is automatically renewed at each due date (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel before the renewal date. If payment fails, the Service is maintained for 7 days then suspended until regularization.
Invoices are available in your dashboard and sent automatically by email.
9. Right of withdrawal and termination
Right of withdrawal: in accordance with applicable European law for digital services, by creating your account and subscribing, you expressly request immediate execution of the Service. You acknowledge accordingly that your right of withdrawal ends as soon as the Service is effectively executed, namely upon the first installation of Naykora Dragon Shield.
Termination: you can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the already-paid period. No partial refunds are issued for the current period.
Upon cancellation, the Naykora Dragon Shield application remains technically installed on your devices. An email is sent with the uninstall procedure per system (Windows, macOS) or offers remote uninstall by our team within 24 business hours if you contact us.
10. Referral program (Dragon Guard)
Each user has a unique referral code. When a person signs up using your code and subscribes, you earn a commission per active referral.
Cascade structure: the program is organized across several levels. You earn a commission on payments from your direct referrals (level 1) as well as, to a lesser extent and based on the applicable rates, on payments from indirect referrals (referrals of your referrals), up to several levels deep. Exact per-level rates are published in your Dragon Guard area and may be adjusted at any time for new referrals (already-earned amounts keep their original rates).
Commission rates also depend on the plan subscribed by the referral (monthly or yearly).
Validation period: referral earnings are in Pending status for 30 days after the referral's payment. After this period without dispute, cancellation, or chargeback, earnings move to Validated status and become payable.
Payout: validated earnings are paid monthly by SEPA bank transfer to the IBAN you have registered. Minimum payout threshold is 10 CHF.
Medals: the Dragon Guard program awards symbolic (cosmetic) medals when your referrals reach certain seniority or loyalty thresholds. These medals have no monetary value and grant no additional payment; they only recognize your engagement in the program.
Anti-fraud: self-referral, sharing an IBAN between unrelated accounts, creating multiple fake accounts, or any fraudulent behavior results in cancellation of the affected earnings and suspension of the referrer account. In case of refund or bank dispute on a referral payment, the associated earnings are canceled.
11. Messaging and support
Built-in dashboard messaging lets you contact our team for any technical, commercial, or administrative question. We commit to respond within 24 business hours on weekdays.
Resolved conversations can be archived by you to declutter your interface. Messages are retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Compliant use and prohibitions
You agree to:
- Use the Service only in a private and legal family context.
- Not install Naykora Dragon Shield on devices you do not own or for which you have not obtained the informed consent of their primary user.
- Not attempt to circumvent the device quota, reverse-engineer the application, or access Naykora or our subcontractors' systems outside the provided interfaces.
- Not use the Service to monitor third parties without their prior consent, including employees, roommates, or minors outside your parental authority.
Any breach may result in immediate account suspension without refund.
13. Service availability and maintenance
Naykora uses reasonable means to ensure Service availability. Given the nature of digital services, no contractual availability commitment (SLA) is offered on the consumer tier.
Maintenance operations may cause temporary interruptions, announced in advance when possible. Major incidents are communicated via email and on the dashboard.
14. Intellectual property
All Naykora assets (texts, Naykora brand, dragon mascot, Dragon Shield logo, designs, code, documentation) are the exclusive property of Naykora or its licensors. Any reproduction, representation, adaptation, or exploitation without written authorization is prohibited.
Your subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for the duration of the subscription.
Your data (configuration, history) remains your property. You grant us a limited license to use it for the purposes of executing the Service.
15. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided as a preventive monitoring and alerting tool. Naykora IS NOT an antivirus, does not block any ongoing attack, and does not actively defend your devices. Naykora does not guarantee 100% detection of risk indicators or the absence of compromise on monitored devices. The Service is strictly supplemental and does not replace the good security practices (active antivirus, firewall, backups, system updates) that you alone are responsible for maintaining.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Naykora's cumulative liability under these Terms is limited to the total fees paid by the user during the 12 months preceding the triggering event. No indirect damages (data loss, loss of business, moral prejudice) are compensable.
These limitations do not apply in case of willful misconduct, gross negligence, or breach of mandatory consumer law obligations.
16. Changes to the Terms
Naykora reserves the right to modify these Terms. Any substantial modification will be notified by email at least 30 days before its entry into force. You may cancel your subscription before that date if you reject the new conditions.
Continued use of the Service after the entry into force date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the law applicable at Naykora's seat in the European Union, excluding conflict-of-laws rules. Consumers residing in the European Union retain the benefit of the more protective mandatory provisions of their national consumer law.
Any dispute relating to the interpretation or performance hereof is subject to the competent courts at Naykora's registered seat. European consumers may also file a claim with the courts of their habitual residence.
